OUR BACKGROUND

George Seay’s journey into the construction world began long before he founded GSeay, Inc. In 1985, fresh out of the University of Florida - BCN (School of Construction Managment), a top construction university in the nation, George already had a clear vision. A master carpenter working his way through college, he had earned his Contractor License the year prior. His goal was to create a construction company that could handle any challenge.

After graduating, George worked for several prominent construction firms, filling roles from foreman to superintendent, estimator to project manager. With each position, he gained valuable experience in all facets of construction management. He soon realized that to truly bring his vision to life, he needed to start his own company.

In 1993 George Co-founded Vanson Enterprises, Inc. Over the next 26 years, he built a solid reputation working with major clients like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Tishman, and Hyatt, as well as supporting companies like Siemens and UCF. Vanson also expanded into restaurants, retirement communities, multifamily structure renovations and a variety of hospitality and commercial projects.

In 2019, George closed the chapter on Vanson Enterprises, Inc. to embark on a new journey. Armed with decades of experience and a refined vision, he launched GSeay, Inc. This new venture not only continued his commitment to hospitality construction but also expanded into healthcare and industrial projects, driven by his dedication to excellence and innovation. George has also built a new team of talented professionals with years of experience in construction. Surrounding himself with out-of-the-box thinkers and highly skilled individuals, GSeay, Inc. thrives on diverse expertise and creativity, ensuring every project exceeds expectations.
